COVID Info (Ingersoll Skating Club)

PrintCOVID Info

We are really excited to get our skating year started, however before you come to the arena, we wanted to share some important information with you.

Before you arrive at the arena, on the first day, please complete the following forms…

-          COVID Waiver

-          Rowan's Law Concussion Awareness Form

-          Skater’s Etiquette Form.

These forms must be printed, completed and submitted to the board member on your first skating day.  You may also complete the forms and e-mail them to [email protected] ahead of time.

We are also attaching to this email a COVID Screening Questionnaire.  We ask that you kindly review these questions before each session.  The answers must be “No” to all questions.  If your skater or the person accompanying them answer “Yes” to any question, please do NOT come to the arena.

Hand sanitizer will be provided by the arena staff.  All persons are strongly encouraged to use sanitizer upon entry.

Masks must be worn by all persons entering the arena.  Once the skater has entered the ice area, they will be offered to remove their masks.  All other visitors will be expected to wear a mask for the duration of their time spent in the building.

Arrive no sooner than 15 minutes prior to your skater’s session start.

Only one (1) family member will be allowed in the building per skater.  We are encouraging parents/guardians of older skaters to not be in the arena if they do not need to be.  Due to COVID restrictions, no persons shall remain in the lobby area. Change rooms will be assigned and a board member will direct you upon arrival.  It is strongly advised that your skater arrive to the arena ice ready.  Once your child is ready to skate, all guardians will proceed to the viewing area.

Please dress warmly as the lobby is not a viewing option.

Skaters and guardians will exit the arena through the door closest to the assigned change room.  No one is to exit the main front doorway as this is an entrance ONLY.

Please ensure you are social distancing.

If your child is feeling unwell kindly refrain from attending the arena.

If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to a board member.

Please Note:  These protocols are subject to change on an ongoing basis as additional information becomes available.

Thank you,

Stacie Hinz
